Good news for innovative companies from around the world that are looking for a dynamic environment in which to grow: The BioSquare at Leipzig’s BioCity Campus for life sciences and technology just celebrated its topping up ceremony in traditional style.

The two-building complex is located on the site of the ‘Alte Messe’ in the heart of the city, surrounded by universities, research institutes and up-and-coming companies. Building A offers five stories of versatile floor space and has already been earmarked as the new headquarters of biotech company c-Lecta.

Building B is due to be completed in Q3 of 2025 and is open for new tenants. The seven-story building will offer around 10,000 sqm of flexibly plannable lab and office space. The German developer OFB Projektentwicklung GmbH is also focusing on sustainability and will be aiming for DGNB Gold certification with the BioSquare ensemble.
