In March, answers to this question are being explored at the Connected Health Summit 2026 in Leipzig, which is highlighting the results of the BMFTR-funded project ‘6G Health’.

The summit is designed for key players from healthcare, business, telecoms, health insurance, regulatory bodies, government, and research. The all-day event comprises two parts: In the morning there are hands-on live demonstrations showcasing the project’s results. Attendees follow a patient journey and experience how 6G-enabled connectivity, secure data flows, and interoperable systems can work together. In the afternoon, participants gain new perspectives on networked medicine, including aspects such as clinical adoption, legal compliance, financing, and infrastructure.
