CURAC’s 23rd Annual Conference is a must-go for all future-oriented surgeons from research and clinical practice.

The German Society for Computer- and Robot-Assisted Surgery (CURAC) promotes scientific work and its practical implementation in this field. During the society’s annual conference, current and future research of German institutes is presented and discussed. This year’s conference under the motto “Digitalization and Translation in Surgery” has a wide-ranging program, including keynote speeches by luminaries such as Prof. Philippe Claude Cattin, Prof. Frieder Stolzenburg, Prof. Zoltan Takats and Prof. Norbert Weidner.
Workshops, sessions, poster presentations, and round table discussions give attendees the chance to deepen their understanding about the relationships between surgery, information technology, the engineering sciences and adjacent fields. The conference also offers plenty of opportunities to network in a relaxed atmosphere, whether during the get-together at Gohlis Palace or on the city tour in a vintage bus headed to the Leipziger Baumwollspinnerei.
