The Forum provides a platform for advancing precision medicine, with the aim of facilitating global collaboration in the field.

Healthcare in Germany is due to see significant developments in 2024, with a new project aiming to integrate genomic medicine for rare and oncological diseases into German healthcare. This will present challenges, including developing the required clinical infrastructure, how to involve patients, legal prerequisites and data privacy, and data infrastructure and digitalization. The Precision Medicine Forum provides a platform to overcome these barriers and find ways to advance the field, with the ultimate goal of further unlocking the promise of a personalized approach to healthcare.
