Looking for innovation, inspiration and investment when it comes to healthcare? If so, Central Germany is an exciting place to be right now. That was a key ‘take home message’ at the second edition of the ‘future of health xperience’ (FHX24) in Leipzig in May 2024.

The conference offered two days of panel discussions, breakout sessions, networking events and opportunities to experience healthcare innovations first hand. Regional players such as the Innovation Center Computer Assisted Surgery (ICCAS) and University Hospital Leipzig were present, with topics covered ranging from biohacking, to virtual reality, to smart hospital solutions – to name just a few.

During the Health Congress Central Germany, which was being held in tandem with FHX24 for the first time, experts presented groundbreaking healthcare projects and networks being implemented in the German states of Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia. Listeners learned that the heart of Germany is continuing to evolve into a dynamic hub of innovation in healthcare, the life sciences, and tech.
