Great start and bright future for Leipzig’s ‘future of health experience’ A resounding success – that’s what Leipzig’s first ever ‘future of health experience’ (FHX23) turned out to be. More than 450 experts from all areas of healthcare came together to learn and network during the 2-day event.

Innovators from around the world were able to share and discuss their insights on stage, at master classes and during an informal evening get-together. What became clear is that in the face of growing challenges, health-care systems need to implement digital, intersectoral and patient-centric solutions. Topics covered during the conference included future-oriented technologies like artificial intelligence, robotics and blockchain-based systems, as well as issues such as health data security. True to its name, FHX23 also offered guests the opportunity to experience innovations live: More than 25 exhibitors presented their solutions, from digital therapies and 3D printing applications to a smart ambulance. The conference culminated in a shuttle tour through three of Leipzig’s innovation sites: the BioCity Campus with its dynamic business accelerator MEDICAL FORGE, the Innovation Center Computer Assisted Surgery (ICCAS) and the showrooms of the care concept C4U2BE. Save the date! FHX24 for expert networking on digital innovations in healthcare will take place in Leipzig on May 15/16 2024.
