When asked to rank Europe’s start-up hubs, Leipzig’s seed-stage incubator HHL DIGITAL SPACE gets high marks from satisfied alumni – particularly in the technology sector.

For the second year running, a Europe-wide ranking of start-up hubs has confirmed that Leipzig is the place to be if you need support for exciting new ideas. HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management’s seed-stage incubator HHL DIGITAL SPACE belongs to the continent’s top 23 incubators. In Germany, the incubator ranks 19th among start-up hubs and 4th when it comes to the technology sector. Since the rankings are based to 85 percent on alumni feedback, those assessments come straight from the people who have first-hand experience with the programs on offer.

The HHL DIGITAL SPACE is a seed-stage incubator – a structured program which nurtures young start-ups and helps them grow to market maturity. In Leipzig, it offers a 12-week program with practical workshops, tailored mentorships, and strategic advice from a global network of investors and industry experts. At a subsidiary in Görlitz, its “Entrepreneurship Seminar Series” offers free lessons and tips for young founders. In addition, the incubator co-organizes a summer school to promote founders from underrepresented groups and enables access to funding with “Stage Two”, Europe’s largest competition for university spin-offs. The program also includes events like the HHL Entrepreneurs’ Day, Money4Founders and the summer BOOTcamp.
