In the current “Clinic List 2023” of the news magazine FOCUS, the University Hospital Leipzig (UKL) is again one of the TOP 9 of the best hospitals in Germany with 10th place in the nationwide hospital ranking. Specialist departments of the UKL received 51 recommendations as a top clinic and 40 personalities were listed as top physicians.

The range of facilities rated as very good ranges from eye clinics to dentistry and includes 25 clinics and areas of the UKL. “We are very pleased about this good evaluation of our work, which is a result of the great skill and commitment of all our employees for our patients,” says Prof. Christoph Josten, Medical Director of the UKL. “We are particularly pleased that we were recognized in cancer medicine as one of our focal points in the treatment of 11 types of tumors,” says Josten. “It should also be emphasized that many of our clinics are among the top facilities in several categories. This proves once again that our patients at Leipzig University Hospital can expect excellent, top-level treatment in every situation and at every age.”
