From May 19-22, 2026, innovative robotics, AI, XR, and digital health solutions ‘Made in Leipzig’ will take center stage at the OT World. Experience the exciting future of healthcare at Booth 41 in Hall 1!

‍Experts in orthotics and rehabilitation technology are gathering at the OT World in Leipzig to highlight their innovations and shine a light on where the field is headed. And because Leipzig itself is becoming a key hub for robotics and AI in healthcare, it’s taking the opportunity to showcase its home-grown expertise. At Booth 41 in Hall 1, partners from the city’s robotics and AI community will be offering exciting panels, live presentations and hands-on sessions for a unique visitor experience.

University of Leipzig’s Innovation Center Computer Assisted Surgery (ICCAS) conducts cutting-edge research in the fields of robotics, computer-assisted medicine, and clinical integration. Leap:up and business accelerator medical:forge Leipzig offer a dynamic start-up ecosystem for young robotics and medtech companies. INNO3 und the Health Innovators Group Leipzig are networking and knowledge transfer platforms for innovative players in the healthcare sector. And the new MIT Center for Medical Innovation and Technology tests innovations under real-world conditions to integrate them more efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively into healthcare systems.

Visitors will also get to meet some of Leipzig’s most innovative companies in the field: These include the Weber Hand and Finger Dynamometer (HFD), a successful medical:forge alumnus that helps patients with post-stroke rehabilitation. Greenbay Healthcare GmbH aims to ease the burden on healthcare professionals by using AI to support medical decision-making.
